Crew
Ray Crampton
Ray’s passion for diving started in 1998 when travelling around the middle-east where he completed his Divemaster qualification. Back home in South Africa, he soon became a PADI Instructor before moving to Australia to work and travel.
Since living in Australia, Ray has worked in commercial radio and corporate banking, whilst continuing instructing casually and spearfishing in his spare time. Ray is also a commercial Navy Diver in the Royal Australian Navy Reserves.
Joanne learnt to be a PADI Instructor in the cold water off Dunedin, New Zealand - swimming with sealions, seeing the unusual marine life thta can only be discovered in the depths of Milford Sounds and experiencing its beauty in natures purest form. As a PADI Instructor, Joanne was enouraged to explore Australia's coastal waters and discover the unique wildlife.
Joanne enjoys sharing with everybody the amazing feeling that is scuba diving - and that she does every day with groups through Dive World.
Dylan Moffitt
Dylan is a third year Marine Biology student at UQ and started instructing 3 years ago in Mozambique. Dylan is passionate about diving and ensuring that all new divers appreciate the under water world.

Richard moved to Brisbane from the UK in late 2008 to enjoy the great lifestyle. In early 2009 he started diving and has been with Dive World since they opened in 2010, initially as a social diver, then progressing through to Divemaster. In late 2011 Richard completed his Instructor exams and joined the ranks of our great crew as Instructor.
Yair started to dive when he was 14 at the Mediterranean and Red Seas where he completed his PADI Open Water and Advanced Courses. A few years later Yair became a Divemaster and worked on a cruise ship as a dive guide in the waters of the Caribbean and Mediterranean seas. In 2002 he became a PADI Open Water Instructor and continued to work on cruise ships and worked in locations such as Mexico, Los Cabos and the Sea of Curtez.
Yair has a Bachelor of Marine Science and Ocean Environment and works between being a Dive World Instructor and in Information Technology.
Aaron learnt to dive 2004 and quickly developed a passion for diving. Two years later he certified as a PADI Open Water Instructor and enjoyed life working in tropical North Queensland on the Great Barrier Reef.
Aaron has a great work life balance, introducing students to the wonders of the underwater world on the weekends, and working in banking and insurance during the week. He has a special love of wrecks and enjoys those that are scattered around the SE Region.

Will grew up in Mullumbimby, NSW (near Byron Bay) and always loved the water. When he moved to Brisbane in Februray 2011 he walked into Dive World and wasn't seen again until 8 months later when he walked out after completing the Dive World 2011 Divemaster Internship Program with an odd smile, strawry messy hair and a card with Divemaster written on it!
Will can't say what his favourite dive is, but whether its coral, wrecks, night dives, deep diving or getting up close with sharks - he loves it all.

Catherine completed her PADI Open Water course with Dive World in 2011 and fell in love with it so much she quickly completed her Advanced Course and progressed on to join the Dive World 2011 Divemaster Internship Program. Now as a Divemaster, Catherine continues to share her love of diving and can be found somewhere on most Dive World courses (along with Will!).
Through the week Catherine works in sales and marketing.
Janne & Anne
Dive masters Anne and Janne have been passionate divers since 2004. The peaceful world of diving is a perfect counter weight for their day jobs as engineers in manufacturing industry. Their passion for diving has taken them spending all their holidays going to remote locations around the world in a search of yet another species of sharks, big schools of fish and always unforgettable manta rays. Janne has taken more than a few photos of these encounters, and is always keen to find another perfect shot.
In 2007, they decided to move from Finland to Australia for year-around diving in beautiful waters of Australian East Coast. After all, there is nothing better than a day out diving!
Kellie Crampton
Kellie started diving 4 years ago in the warm waters off Central Queesland and enjoys taking a slow dive to take in all the finer details. Kellie has dived socially around the world and is currently completing her Divemaster Course along with the rest of the Divemaster Trainees. You will find Kellie in the shop most days, helping customers, on the phone or stuck behind the computer!
