There are a number of dive sites at the Gold Coast Seaway. The South-Wm est wall is great for beginner divers with a maximum depth of 8m and less current than other areas. Juvenile fish and small marine life such as seahorses, pipefish and crabs can be seen in this shallow ‘nursery’.

The South Wall is an interesting site for more advanced divers. Schools of trevally and tropical fish, including lionfish, butterfly fish and wrasse, are found around a large sand pipe. Eagle rays can be sighted here also. These dive sites can be accessed all year round as they are sheltered from the sea. High tide is the best time to dive at the Seaway when there is less current and better visibility.
