Julian Rocks
Julian Rocks, Byron Bay
Located off Bryon Bay, Julian Rocks is part of the Cape Byron Marine Park and offers fantastic diving for all levels.
The site has interesting swim-throughs, small caves, gutters, walls and ledges to explore! The marine life is abundant, with lionfish, anemonefish, nudibranchs, turtles, moray eels, stingrays, cuttlefish, gropers, wobbegong sharks, jewfish and eagle rays commonly seen. In summer months there are leopard sharks and manta rays, and in the winter months, aggregations of grey nurse sharks. Large schools of sweetlips and bullseyes can also be seen on the occasion.
